Dear all, you may be aware that the Church of England has advised all public worship to cease until further notice as a precaution against spreading the corona virus. This means that until further notice there will be no services at the Church of The Transfiguration, or St Nicholas’ Chapel on Sandbanks.
This also applies to church run groups such as the coffee morning, toddler group and craft group.
In the meantime, we suggest the following:
Andrew and Tom will continue to pray for you all even though the Church building is now closed.
We will be sending round by email (or post if preferred) a homily and some readings for reflection each fortnight. Even though we will be apart, we can still gather in spirit.
Even if we can’t visit each other, do please stay in touch especially with those who are more vulnerable. If you are able to offer your services, we are helping to coordinate a local group to bring food and essential supplies to those who are isolated and unable to leave their homes. Please let us know if you are willing to be part of this
Perhaps the most distinctive Christian witness we can offer is one of hope; God is sovereign and we hold a hope beyond this world. Do not despair!
